When should I book a newborn session?

It’s best to book your newborn session during your pregnancy, ideally in your second trimester, to ensure availability around your due date.

What happens if my baby arrives early?

If your baby arrives early, just let me know as soon as you can so we can adjust your session date. I build flexibility into my newborn schedule to allow for early or late arrivals, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your new timeline.

When should I book my family session:

It’s best to book as early as possible to secure your preferred date and allow plenty of time to plan your session. Captured Moments by Julie accepts bookings up to one year in advance.

Do you provide clothing for my photoshoot?

Yes, Captured Moments by Julie offers a selection of client wardrobe pieces to help enhance your session, including options that complement couples, family, maternity, newborn, and milestone photoshoots. Availability may vary by session type, so please reach out for more details on what is provided and what you may want to bring.

How long does a photoshoot take?

Session lengths vary depending on the type of shoot. Portrait sessions typically last 30 minutes to an hour, while newborn sessions, can take up to 3 hours.

Are digital images included?

Digital images are included complementary when purchased as prints/products.

What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor session?

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can reschedule for another day or move the session to an indoor location. We’ll stay in touch and make the best decision together.

How much should we expect to invest?

Every family is different, so your final investment will depend on the artwork and products you choose. Most clients invest anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000+ on custom artwork, albums, and digital images. During your consultation, I'll walk you through all options and help you choose what best fits your family and home.
